I know that right now all you Juniors and Seniors out there are preparing for the SAT 1 Reasoning Test, so I thought I'd post a few good word lists.
These two lists are free from Sparknotes in PDF format. The 250 word list is pretty good itself, although it is short. The 1000 word list has considerable overlap with the 250 word list, but (obviously) has many more words in it. The only downside to the 1000 word list are that most of the words are pretty basic words that most sophomores and juniors should know.
